    Pacific dual language books

    The Pacific dual language resources are designed to support the early language and literacy learning of Pacific new entrant students in English-medium classrooms. Teacher and parent support material accompanies these resources. Many of the dual language books are available as PDFs and all the books are available as MP3 audio files. These texts relate to Level 1 in the NZ Curriculum

    Print copies of the texts are available from Down the Back of the Chair.

    In 2020 the PELP programme was extended to early learning. The new resources consisting of 25 dual-language books plus supporting materials in the form of kaiako support material and family support material plus audio files of the books. These resources are available on the Te Whariki site.
