CHAPTERS – Series introduction
CHAPTERS gives students the opportunity to read real chapter books, build reading stamina, and develop confidence and motivation for independent, personal reading.
CHAPTERS is intended for students in year 3. The teacher support material (TSM) provides suggestions on how to vary the levels of support so that all students can read and enjoy these books.

Copies of CHAPTERS books are distributed free to primary schools that use the New Zealand Curriculum.

The School Journal series supports students in years 4−8 to develop the knowledge and skills required to meet the reading demands of all the curriculum areas. Each issue is aligned to either level 2, level 3, or level 4 of the New Zealand Curriculum.
