Learning about geometry and measurement 

 

These material masters can be used by teachers to support learning about geometry and measurement. They include templates for grid, isometric and dot paper which are useful for: shapes, spatial reasoning and perimeter, area, and volume activities. 

Also included are compass directions, angle templates and clock faces.  

XY graphs (1 and 4 quadrant) are useful for Geometry – spatial reasoning and pathways, and connect to Algebra activities.

These material masters are referred to in the ‘Teaching considerations’ section of the teaching sequences for Years 0-8.
