Connected 2023 Level 3: He pātaka kura huna: A storehouse of knowledge

The three Connected texts explore themes of place, practices, iwi and hapū connections, technology, and economic opportunities. They focus on technologies and practices related to horticulture and the harvesting of tītī and the enduring cultural significance of these practices in terms of identity and whanaungatanga.

At times, Connected themes require the introduction of concepts that students at this curriculum level may not be able to fully understand. What matters at this stage is that students begin to develop their understanding that they can grow over time.
