Ordering Ministry-funded maths resources
Schools are able to order Ministry-funded resources to support them with the implementation of the revised maths and statistics learning areas for years 0-8.
As part of the ‘Make it Count’ programme, schools can order Ministry-funded resources, aligned to the refreshed curriculum, to support schools while they implement the revised maths and statistics learning areas for years 0-8.
Schools can order their Ministry-funded resources from the 21st October. Order here using the SALESFORCE order form. This will require an ESL log-in.
Schools are encouraged to get their orders in by 4 November for delivery before Term One, 2025. Schools can still order after this date, but delivery prior to Term One 2025 is not guaranteed.
The suppliers of these resources are below. Select the name of the provider to go to their website and see what is on offer through the Ministry:

If you’re unsure about which resources might be best for you, please see the section below, ‘Helping you choose and compare resources'.
*Please note: the Numicon resources have been very popular with schools so far, which may lead to some schools’ orders for Numicon resources being placed on back order. Schools that have or want to order Numicon resources will still receive their order, but it may be delivered later in Term One. Schools will be updated on the status of their order after 4 November.
Schools will also still be able to access the online resources offered by Numicon.
Rangaranga Pāngarau
To ensure that students learning through te reo Māori can fully engage with the updated pāngarau curriculum from Term 1 2025, we are undertaking a review of pāngarau resources that are already well-utilised in kura and schools to refresh and redesign them as needed to align with the new curriculum into self-contained activity packs.
These packs will include teacher guidance and ākonga (student) activities, offering students targeted, ready-to-use materials.
Each kura and school (with te reo māori settings) will receive up to five sample kits of the refreshed resources start of Term 1, 2025. Additional pāngarau kits can be ordered through the Ministry’s distribution centre starting in Term 2 as needed.t
More information
When you are ready to order your resources, please go to the SALESFORCE order form to begin the process of ordering. (The SALESFORCE form will be live from 21 October.) You will need your ESL log-in details, with a ‘PLD Lead’ level log-in.
SALESFORCE will be pre-populated with roll data from your school. This will be used to determine the quantity of resources that will be supplied. The values in the Student Count column are fixed and cannot be changed, and show the number of students anticipated for each year level in 2025. If you need to modify the student count, please submit the application, then contact us at [email protected] to request the changes.
The values in the Teacher Count column are unpopulated, enabling you to enter the number of teachers for each year level. If you enter teacher amounts that exceed your maximum Teacher Count, you will receive an error message informing you what your maximum amount is, allowing you to then change the amount. If you need to modify the teacher counts beyond the current limit, please submit the application, then contact us at [email protected] to request the changes.
Once you have chosen a supplier for each of your school’s learning phases (you can use the same supplier for all learning phases, or separate suppliers for each phase), you can order the resources through SALESFORCE.
If you need to leave the ordering process at any time, your work will be saved and you can come back to where you left off. Once you have placed your order, a confirmation email will be sent to the contact email supplied in the order, and a tracking number will be sent once the resources have shipped.
Here’s the full process:
Get your ESL log-in (need to have ‘PLD Lead’ role in ESL).
Enter your school delivery details and principal’s phone number.
Indicate which learning phase you are ordering resources for (0-3, 4-6, 7-8).
For each selected, pick a supplier of resources:
- Roll count for each year level at your school will be displayed – this cannot be edited.
- You’ll need to record the number of teachers for each year level. This cannot exceed the total teacher count for your school.
- If you need to modify the teacher count beyond the current limit, please submit the application, then contact us at [email protected] to request the changes.
Submit application – you will receive an email notification to confirm submission.
The ordering process should take approximately 15 mins.
Please see the video and tabs below for more information to help you with this process.
