e-asTTle

e-asTTle is an online assessment tool, developed to assess students’ achievement and progress in pānui (reading), pāngarau (mathematics), and tuhituhi (writing) at curriculum levels 2-6. 

The asTTle assessment tool was designed to provide reliable and valid assessment information for kaiako and ākonga to enhance teaching and learning. It gives kaiako a realistic picture of how well each student, class, or school is doing compared to the national average and the curriculum requirements (including curriculum levels). Kaiako and school leaders can set tests that are aligned with the curriculum when they want and at the level they want.  

e-asTTle is the first bilingual (te reo Māori and English) assessment tool to be developed in New Zealand.
