New accelerated learning support available now

We are releasing new guidance to help Years 0–8 teachers and leaders use curriculum and assessment to support students with additional learning needs. The resource is designed to provide you with practical ways to identify student progress and meet their learning needs, as well as recognise when additional supports might be necessary. 

The first of those supports is available online now, giving leaders strategies that support their school to accelerate learner progress with meaningful connection to whānau and communities.

Two more resources designed specifically for teachers are on their way later in the year, covering strategies for accelerating learning in literacy and maths:

• Teacher guidance for Years 0–3 and 4–6, available in Term 2.
• Teacher guidance for Years 7–8, available in Term 3.
