Maths resources available for order now
21 October, 2024
Schools can order the new Ministry-funded maths resources from today. The resources are being made available to all schools to support the implementation of the revised maths and statistics curriculum for Years 0–8.
There are four suppliers schools can choose from to order their resources. Go to the Tāhūrangi Structured Approaches to Maths page for more information and tools to help you choose which resources will be best for your school:

There is a booklet of discussion prompts to help schools determine which resources will best suit their needs, and a table for each of the resource providers detailing exactly what is on offer at each level, including what print, digital and teacher resources come with each package. There is also a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section:

To order resources, log into Salesforce using your ESL log-in:
Ordering quantities will be based on roll numbers, and pre-populated in the ordering form. Please note this will be based on your current role, which has been adjusted to reflect next year as each cohort moves up a year.
In this first round of ordering resources school will be able to select a ‘package’ of resources per learning phase and will receive appropriate resources for each year group. We anticipate schools and teachers may swap resources around as needed within their school once the resources are delivered to meet the current attainment of learners. Schools can also order maths resources from different suppliers for the different phases of learning. The phases of learning are :
- Phase 1, Years 0–3
- Phase 2, Years 4–6
- Phase 3, Years 7–8
Schools will be able to order more resources early next year (from Down the Back of the Chair) once exact roll numbers and maths attainment levels of children in the school are clearer.
Please be assured there will be continued resources and funding to support the implementation of the revised maths curriculum, until it is fully implemented and the support is no longer required.
