Consultation on 7-13 English learning area closing soon

Ahead of consultation closing on 13 June, there is still time for the sector and other experts to have their say on the draft curriculum content for the Years 7-13 English learning area. 

Draft English (7-13) Consultation (Tāhūrangi)

Tumuaki, principals, kaiako and teachers are strongly encouraged to have a say - your feedback and insights will play an important role in shaping the content, so it is fit for purpose. 

Once feedback has been considered, updated content will be released in Term 4, 2025 and becomes required teaching from the start of 2026.
