Accelerating learning report available now

A new report is available about accelerating learning in English and mathematics.
The ‘Accelerating Learning in Oral Language, Reading, Writing and Mathematics’ report was commissioned by the Ministry of Education and led by the University of Canterbury. It provides a synthesis of evidence aligned with the science of learning to identify teaching practices and interventions that accelerate learning in oral language, reading, writing, and mathematics.
The Ministry is using the report to inform a range of supports to accelerate progress so all learners can access the curriculum and celebrate success. This includes the recently released Accelerating progress – Leadership Guidance and the upcoming teacher guidance, due to be released later in Term 1.
